This is an annual tradition for Edmonton, which brings to life a colourful holiday season. Candy Cane Lane is open from December 7 to January 1. Although the tradition started more than 40 years ago, every year the community always finds a way to make it more spectacular than the year before.

Victoria Park Iceway
Grab your skates and get some fresh air and exercise with another Edmonton favourite winter activity. During the open season, you’ll be able to use the rink from 10am-10pm. Best of all, this family favourite is also free.

Dubbed as the ‘Ultimate Winter Wonderland,’ the giant Ice Castles are a magical place to visit in Edmonton. Although the timings are heavily dependent on weather, this would be a beautiful experience to be part of if you’re looking for things to do in Edmonton. Table Top Cafe
If you’re looking for a warm and relaxing night in, Table Top Cafe is just place to visit. There is nothing more memorable than being around loved ones and keeping yourself entertained with games. Open seven days a week, Table Top Cafe provides a large selection of board games to enjoy for all types. This is an excellent spot for people of any age. This may not be a winter activity, but it can be a great place to stay warm while staying entertained, outside of the house.
